9th GRADE TEXTBOOK PICK-UP:

Today is the make-up day for Freshmen who have not yet picked-up their textbooks. Please come today between 9:00 a.m. and noon to get your books for the upcoming school year – thank you.

9th GRADE NEW ORIENTATION TONIGHT:

Burbank High will be hosting a virtual information meeting for new families , Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Please feel free to have your Freshman join us as well as there is a lot of important information to pass onto them. Our Zoom account is limited to 500 guests, so please ask them to join you on the same Zoom account so as not to keep others out.

STUDENT SCHEDULES:

We have had several calls regarding accessing your Bulldog's schedule for the Fall on Aeries. Please note that you must be on a computer to view classes. This feature is not available on the Aeries App. Your student's schedule is listed as their "COURSE REQUESTS" and will not show a teacher name until school begins.

A MESSAGE FROM FOOD SERVICES:

Families submit an application to see if they qualify for the free or reduced meal program for the 2020/2021 school year. A new meal application must be filled out each year. Applications can be filled out online by going to www.busdfoodservices.com

Burbank Unified School District - School Nutrition And Fitness

School Nutrition and Fitness provides a districts nutrition services department with the tools and information needed to get the word out about the program. Providing parents students and teachers with the resources to help raise and healthy generation.

Food will not be sold on a daily basis and students will not have access to the cafeteria. On Fridays, we will have a drive through/walk-up distribution pick-up opportunity. Families will receive five days’ worth of nutrition and lunch meals for their student. Distribution times will be from 8:30am – 12:30pm. Our first day of distribution would be Friday, August 14, the first Friday before school starts.

* Touchless service - Families will be given a barcode for each of their students that will be scanned when the meals are picked up. *Subject to change

* Meals must be picked up from the school site the student attends.

* Students do not need to be present to collect their meals on the distribution day. 

* Families can send another person to pick up meals if they cannot pick up meals during the distribution pick up time. It will be each family’s responsibility to give the person the student barcode.

*Families who qualify for Free benefits will not have to pay for these meals. Families who qualify for Reduced benefits will pay .30 cents for each nutrition meal and .40 cents for each lunch meal. Families who do not qualify for benefits will need to pay full price for each meal. Elementary is $2.25 for each nutrition meal and $3.50 for each lunch meal. Middle and High School is $2.50 for each nutrition meal and $3.75 for each lunch meal. *Subject to change

THE BHS PICK-UP LOCATION IS ON HARVARD NEAR THE LIBRARY. LOOK FOR THE CONES AND SIGNAGE DIRECTING YOU TO THE PICK-UP LOCATION.
