Bridging History and Art

Autry Museum's Student Art Exhibition

We are thrilled to announce that 8th-grade student Annalisa Carboni was featured in the Autry Museum’s Student Art Exhibition this past Saturday. Her work was selected as part of a competitive showcase that brings together young artists from across the region.

Bridging History and Art

Annalisa’s piece was developed through a unique interdisciplinary project in Mrs. VanKooten’s 8th Grade History class. Tasked with exploring the theme “Visions of Humanity,” Annalisa used her artistic talents to interpret historical concepts through a modern lens. Her ability to translate complex historical themes into a visual narrative stood out to the competition judges and earned her a spot in the exhibition.

Visit the Exhibition

If you would like to see Annalisa’s work in person, her piece will be professionally displayed at the Autry Museum for the next few months. We encourage our staff, students, and families to visit the museum, celebrate this incredible achievement, and support the arts in our schools.
