English as a Second Language (ESL):

    • Classes provide instruction for people who desire to learn or improve their English language proficiency. Students who do not speak English as their first language will learn reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. ESL classes are participatory, interactive and involve the utilization of technology. Classes provide instruction designed to promote the acquisition of the English language. The classes are divided into six levels from beginning to advanced. At registration, students are tested and placed in the appropriate level. Students must be registered by our staff.

    Citizenship Preparation:

    • The Citizenship Preparation class incorporates English language skills with subject matter designed to help students pass the U.S. Citizenship Exam. Lessons and activities are based on civics, current affairs, U.S. History and government.
