• George Washington Elementary School is a uniform-only school, per BUSD Board of Education Approval.  All Transitional Kindergarten through fourth grade students wear white or navy blue polo shirts with navy bottoms (shorts, skirts, skorts, pants, sweatpants and jumper dresses. Only Navy blue leggings or tights under their uniform skirts or dresses are allowed.  Fifth grade students wear red polo shirts with navy bottoms. All students may wear navy or red sweaters, sweatshirts or jackets.  Denim jeans and black sweatpants are NOT  ALLOWED! Washington Spirit Wear may be worn on Fridays ONLY.
