In 2010, California adopted the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) to identify what skills and knowledge students should learn in each grade across all subjects. Burbank USD selected state-approved curriculum in English-Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies to teach these standards.
Teachers utilize various instructional strategies in harmony with curricular resources to teach these standards to students.
