Students are expected to participate in each PE class, but occasionally their participation must be limited.

• A student may be excused from PE class:

  • for up to one week per trimester (2 consecutive PE days)

  
  • if specified by a parent note for illness or injury. Thereafter, a doctor's note is required.

  PE Excuse notes must:

  • be signed and dated by a parent
  • include a contact number for parent
  • give the reason for the PE excuse
  • be taken to the School Nurse before    school starts
  • be presented to the classroom teacher first thing in the morning and then taken to PE class
