The John Muir Middle School Instrumental Music Association would like to invite you to a "A Holiday Classic" this Thursday, December 9th at 6:30PM in our Auditorium. Our show will feature our Beginning Band, Beginning Strings, String Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Chamber Strings, Mustang Combo, and a grand finale featuring all members of the IMA performing as the Mustang Symphony Orchestra. We'll be performing a fun filled selection of holiday classics in a wide array of styles. Students with a student ID may attend for $5. We hope to see you there!
Attention 8th Graders! Are you interested in taking on your favorite teachers, administrators and staff in the 8th Grade vs Muir Staff a flag football game on December 17th? If so, come and hear more about Muir’s annual tradition, the Muir Bowl, and sign up to be considered during a brief meeting today at lunch in room 603. All students and skill levels are welcome, but you must be in good academic and disciplinary standing. See Mrs. Celaya for more details.
Vocal Music 2nd Semester Auditions: Calling all vocalists! If you are interested in joining choir for 2nd semester, listen up! Mrs. Lee will be holding auditions this Thursday, 12/9, right after school. Come to room 802 for a brief audition and see what our program is all about!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS/THE MORE THE MERRIER! - Are you interested in joining our stellar Drama program? If you're a 7th or 8th grader interested in joining our Theater Tech program and working backstage or if you're an 8th grader interested in being an actor in the spring play, you can stop by Room 801 after school or email Mr. James and we'll add your name to our list!
All students: After school tutoring will be in room 307 on Wednesday. We will be having after school tutoring Thursday! Get ready to do great on your finals!

The last Rubik’s Cube Club meeting is today at lunch! Today is your last chance to compete and learn how to solve the Rubik’s Cube in 2021. If you are interested in becoming a part of the 6% of the population who knows how to solve this puzzle, come by the grass fields between the 100 and 300 halls. Hope to see you there!
