High School Student Care Centers

High School Student Care Centers

Family Service Agency (FSA) staffs on-site Student Care Centers at Burbank High School (BHS) and John Burroughs High School (JBHS) in an effort to provide high quality prevention, education, and referral services for students, on a walk-in basis. These Centers offer a tranquil and supportive respite for students to collect their thoughts and share their feelings in an environment staffed with therapists from FSA.

For general information about the Student Care Centers or FSA, please call FSA directly at (818) 845-7671.

At Burbank High School, the Student Care Center is located in the room behind the lunch shelter, adjacent to the cafeteria.

At John Burroughs High School, the Student Care Center is located in Room 6-104, which is in the wing alongside Keystone St. It is next to the wood shop.

To date, several hundred students have utilized the program’s services at the two comprehensive high schools. The cornerstone of FSA’s partnership with the District on the Student Care Centers is the expectation of confidentiality when students are served in the Student Care Centers.
