INTRA District Permits - Burbank Residents

 Intra District Permit applications for the 2026-2027 school year

will be accepted 

February 9, 2026 - March 13, 2026

If you live in Burbank and would like for your child to attend a school other than your school of residence, you may apply for an Intra District permit. Every Intra District permit considered/approved is based upon space available and via a lottery drawing that takes place in late spring and throughout the summer.

Please note that placement via Intra District permit into an elementary school does not guarantee your student placement in the corresponding middle or high school. In addition, placement of an older sibling on Intra District permit does not guarantee placement of a younger sibling requesting an Intra District placement.

A new Intra District permit must be requested each time your student changes school levels (ie. elementary to middle school or middle school to high school).
