2026-2027 ENROLLMENT INFORMATION - Burbank Residents
ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BEGIN ON JANUARY 20, 2026
IF YOUR STUDENT IS ALREADY ENROLLED IN BUSD, YOU DO NOT NEED TO ENROLL THEM AGAIN
(Current TK students will automatically roll back to their school of residence for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year)
Please be aware that your child will not be officially enrolled until your school site has reviewed all of your documents in person and has verified them. Only complete sets of information will be accepted for enrollment.
Students are placed in the order of complete enrollment after bringing original documents to your enrollment appointment at your school site.
If your school of residence is full, your student will be placed at another BUSD school that has space and added to a capped list for your home school until a space becomes available.

Enroll online by clicking the pencil above. During the online process, you will be able to upload the required documents when prompted. You will bring your child's original birth certificate or passport to your enrollment appointment at your school site -- these will not be uploaded with your application.
You must bring the following documents to your school of residence to finalize registration:
- Proof of Age (original Birth Certificate or passport)
- Immunization Record (must be current to enroll)
- Current Burbank Water and Power bill AND either a So Cal Gas bill or landline telephone bill. Partial statements or past due/disconnection notices will not be accepted.
- Parent/Guardian's drivers license

NEW Additional Requirement: TB Risk Assessment: All newly enrolling students need to present a completed Tuberculosis (TB) Risk Assessment conducted and signed by a licensed healthcare provider.

Please note: A TB test is not required for everyone. That need will be determined by the healthcare provider as they work with the parent and child on the risk assessment. Your child will not be officially enrolled until you have finalized your registration by bringing these documents to your school of residence for verification. In addition, providing a transcript or report card from a prior school will help us place your student in appropriate classes.
Only complete sets of information will be accepted for enrollment. Students are placed by birthdate and in the order of complete enrollment.
