🏛️ District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

All parents of English learners are encouraged to participate in our District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC). This committee is made up of parents, staff, and community members who advise district leaders on programs and services for English learners. DELAC plays a vital role in shaping district-wide decisions and provides valuable input for continuous improvement.

📘 Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), districts with:

At least 50 English learners, and
A total enrollment that includes 15% or more English learners
The District must establish a DELAC and ensure it fulfills specific responsibilities related to the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

DELAC meetings are currently held in a hybrid format, combining both 👩🏽‍💻Zoom and 👩🏽👨🏽in-person attendance options.

🌐 Spanish and Armenian translation services are available exclusively through the Zoom platform, ensuring accessibility for families joining remotely.
