Right At School Before & After School Care
For Students in Grades 2-5 during the 2026-2027 school year,
We are excited to share an update on our before and after-school program. Based on feedback from our community, we have been working diligently to eliminate waitlists and provide programming opportunities for all interested students and families.
We are pleased to announce a new partnership that will expand access for all families. Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, Right At School, a leading provider of high-quality, engaging, and fun expanded learning programs, will offer before and after-school programming to 2nd through 5th grade students beginning August 13, 2026. Registration for the before and after-school programs will open on Monday, May 18th.
Right At School will operate at the following schools:

- Joaquin Miller Elementary School
- Providencia Elementary School
- Ralph Emerson Elementary School
- Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary School
- Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School
- Thomas Edison Elementary School
- Thomas Jefferson Elementary School
- Walt Disney Elementary School
- William McKinley Elementary School
Morning and After School Program
For families who wish to participate, the program will be available before school, starting at 7:00 AM, and after school, until 6:00 PM, every day school is in session. Families will be able to work with Right At School to create flexible monthly schedules, choosing 1 to 5 days per week. Drop-in care is also available.
Right At School will hire local, highly qualified staff and deliver a comprehensive, play-based enrichment curriculum to keep students engaged and active. Students will enjoy a daily snack, homework time, dynamic fitness activities, and hands-on STEM projects, as well as team building, community service, and leadership development opportunities. The program also features a thematic curriculum aligned with district standards for academics and student growth.
