The After-School Education and Safety Program
(ASES)
 
is a partnership with the
City of Burbank, Boys and Girls Club of Burbank
and,
Los Angeles County
 
to provide a safe environment after school for students in grades 1-8.
 
 ASES cost is $75/year registration fee per child in a family.
Students must be in attendance everyday or have arrangementsis required. Families must account for times the student cannot attend for example: afterschool activities, doctor appointments or students' best interest.
The staff at each site will help families to navigate the time the student is not in attendance.
The program operates everyday school in is session, from dismissal time until 6 p.m. except for an occasional staff development day. The program follows the regular school calendar and is closed for all school holidays and breaks.

Some of the components of the program are:

  • Homework time with assistance
  • Educational enrichment; Visual and Performing Arts, recreational, physical fitness, and prevention activities.
  • After-school snack is provided
