Dual Enrollment is when BUSD high school students can take a college course on one of our high school campuses and earn credits for both high school and college. We offer a variety of classes, and high school students could potentially earn more than a semester worth of credits while still in high school! The classes are all transferable to UC/CSU, so think about the tuition savings!

Open to 9th-12th grade students. Students earn high school and college credits. Students with a cumulative GPA below 2.0 need to petition for the enrollment process. Please contact Diana Dysthe, CTE Counselor for petition process. Email her at dianadysthe@burbankusd.org

BUSD linked community college is Los Angeles Valley College, so you'll see most of the classes offered are through LAVC. However, we are able to partner with Glendale Community College for some courses, so you'll see a few options from GCC.

Remember that enrolling in a DE class is the responsibility of the STUDENT. We cannot enroll students in a community college course. The community colleges offer Zoom help sessions.
