BPD SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS (SROs)
-
Currently, the Burbank Police Department has two School Resource Officers (SRO). The SRO’s primary responsibilities are the high schools. The SROs are responsible for responding to challenges that occur on or around the high school grounds and any support that the student may need to stay safe. The SROs also assist with investigating SCARs (Suspected Child Abuse Report) that are generated and forwarded to the Burbank Police Department in addition to crimes against children. SROs also assist Juvenile Detectives with various investigations.
