THE INTRA DISTRICT PERMIT WINDOW FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR IS CLOSED
Please note that placement via INTRA into an elementary school does not guarantee your student placement in the corresponding middle or high school. In addition, placement of an older sibling on INTRA permit does not guarantee placement of a younger sibling requesting an INTRA placement.
A new INTRA permit must be requested every time your student changes schools (ie. elementary to middle school or middle school to high school). Every INTRA considered/approved is based upon space and is a lottery drawing that takes place randomly beginning in late spring and throughout the summer.
REQUESTS ARE GRANTED AND STUDENTS ARE PLACED AFTER RESIDENTS OF THOSE SCHOOLS ARE ADMITTED AND ONLY IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE. INTRA REQUESTS ARE GRANTED ON A LOTTERY BASIS AND DO NOT OCCUR UNTIL LATE SPRING OR SUMMER.
