If you received Special Education Services from the Burbank Unified School District and your date of birth is between January 1, 1997 and December 31, 1997 Your Special Education records will be destroyed as of December 31, 2019.
If you would like to have copies of your Special Education File, you must submit a written request post marked no later than November 1, 2019.

The custodian of records for each school district located in the Foothill SELPA is listed on the last page of your Parent Rights. Educational records may be kept at the school site or the district office, but a written request for records at either site will be treated as a request for records from all sites. The custodian of records will provide you with a list of types and locations of pupil records (if requested). Three years after a student exits a program, the special education records will be destroyed."
