• Any parent interested in helping in the classroom, going on a field trip, or volunteering at school events must be a cleared volunteer. Volunteer applications can be submitted online.

    Online Volunteer Application

     To be on the Approved Volunteer List, a volunteer needs to do the following:

    • Complete a Volunteer Application for the current school year. Please note that a new application must be completed at the start of every school year.

    • Bring your driver’s license to the office when you submit your volunteer application so we can scan it into our Raptor system.

    • Each volunteer is required to submit a Tuberculosis Risk Assessment and Certificate of Completion within the past 60 days of returning their volunteer application. If risk factors are identified, an additional examination to determine that the volunteer is free of infectious TB will be conducted. This examination must be given by a physician, physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner. The TB test or Risk Assessment is valid for 4 consecutive years of volunteering. As long as you complete a new volunteer application each year, you do not have to provide a new TB test each year.    

    Once you have obtained the above requirements, applications are submitted online. Paper applications will NOT be accepted to the Providencia office or the District Office. You will be notified once you have been cleared to volunteer. Upon receiving clearance, you are welcome to contact your child’s teacher to set up a volunteer schedule.
