Michelle Hacking has been a counselor at Luther Middle School since 2010. She started her career in education teaching fourth grade at Incarnation Catholic School in Glendale.  In 1996 she became employed with BUSD.  She started out teaching second grade at Jefferson elementary and later worked at Muir M.S. where she taught sixth grade. Prior to working at Luther, she was a counselor at John Burroughs H.S.  Mrs. Hacking earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a Master’s degree in Education from CSUN. She also attended the University La Verne where she received her second Masters in Educational Counseling. Mrs. Hacking is a native of Burbank. She and her husband have one daughter named Olivia.  In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
