  • 2020 Hollywood Burbank Airport Academy Application

    Hollywood Burbank Airport invites Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena Unified School District high school students to apply to participate in the Hollywood Burbank Airport Academy. Experience all aspects of Airport operations, as well as learn about airside and landside career opportunities. Be sure to submit your application no later than 5pm, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 Excellent candidates are those who: • Have approval from site administrators to attend all 5 Academy Sessions • Are committed to attending every Academy session (once a month for 5 months) • Are responsible for securing their own transportation to and from the airport and school • Will enjoy and appreciate the rare opportunity to participate in this one of its kind program!

  • 2019 "Clerks' Cup" Comes to JBHS and BHS

    We are pleased to announce that the Burbank Unified School District and the City of Burbank will once again partner to host the "Clerks' Cup," a friendly voter registration competition between our two local comprehensive high schools, Burbank and John Burroughs high schools. During the month of November, City Clerk Zizette Mullins will visit JBHS and BHS to speak to students regarding voter registration and the importance of participation in the democratic process.
