Our disaster drill is on Thursday, October 17 at 10:17. You will be sitting outside for about an hour.  Make sure to wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water.  We encourage you to bring a card game, a small board game, a book, a sketch book, or activity workbook. You may use your Chromebook, but you may not use any other type of electronic device.  Make sure you are using your Chromebook appropriately, meaning you are only on school appropriate websites, protecting your device so it doesn’t get damaged, and don’t let other students use your device. You may wear a hat during the drill.  Upon the completion of the drill, make sure to clean up all of your belongings and pick up any trash around you.

Hey 8th graders, did you know that we have a tri-school basketball tournament? Yes, Muir competes against Huerta and Luther Middle Schools on November 13. Are you interested in representing Muir? There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 15 @ lunch in Room 607.  The coaches are Mr. Nicol & Mr. Choe.  If you have any questions ahead of the meeting, please see one of them.

Hey Mustangs! What are some of your favorite things? Yearbook wants to know everything from food, to music, to streaming services.  Go to your grade level counselor’s Goggle Classroom and complete the short survey. Some of your academic teacher's Google Classrooms also have the survey.  The survey will remain open for 4 days only and you must use your school Chromebook to complete it.

Mustangs, a reminder to charge your Chromebook over the weekend and get a head start for Monday!
