Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program Announcement:

All 3rd grade students will be screened for our district’s Gifted and Talented Education Program in January.  Exact dates will be shared prior to Winter Break.  

4th and 5th graders will only be screened if they are nominated by their family or a school employee.   Nomination forms are available on our website, or can be emailed to you.  Nomination forms are due to our Curriculum Specialist, Danielle Kuester, by Friday, December 16th.  If you have any questions or would like a nomination form, please contact Danielle Kuester.

Our district coordinator, Terry Williamson, will be hosting an informational meeting for all interested families on Monday, November 21st at 6:30pm on Zoom.  We will send Zoom information to all 3rd grade families prior to the meeting.  If you are a 4th or 5th grade parent interested in GATE identification, please contact Danielle Kuester to receive the meeting information.
