The online application is designed for all certificated candidates including administrator positions. There are specific questions on the application that address the rigorous No Child Left Behind requirements, the California credentialing requirements, and the BTSA requirements.

Please read the directions carefully for this online application.
Due to security concerns, there is a 30 minute time limit restriction for completing the application.

TO APPLY ONLINE, FOLLOW THE SPECIFIC STEPS

STEP 1: Download the sample pdf application, print and then preview it; DO NOT fill out this form.
STEP 2: Based on the questions in the sample application, gather all the information to complete the online form.
STEP 3: Close the Burbank website windows and exit the Burbank website to reset the time limit.
STEP 4: Once you are ready to complete the application, go to the Apply Online Webpage.
STEP 5: At the end of the form, you must submit the application by clicking the "Submit" button.
STEP 6. PRINT the application by using your browser print button: File >Print .
Do not print from the print preview mode. In some web browsers this only prints a single page.
STEP 7. Sign the application and mail ALL materials to the address below. :

Additional Required Materials:

TEACHER APPLICANTS: Three letters of recommendation, resume, CBEST scores, transcripts, and a copy of your credentials.

ADMINISTRATOR APPLICANTS: Letter of intent, resume, three letters of recommendation, and a copy of your credentials.

SUBSTITUTE APPLICANTS: Resume, letters of recommendation, CBEST scores, transcripts, copies of any credentials.

Please submit the application in a large 9x12 or 10x13 size envelope. DO NOT staple the application since it will be scanned electronically. All documents must be single-sided.Your application is not considered complete until we have received a hard copy and all required material for the position you are seeking.

Human Resources will evaluate your completed hard copy of your application and email you when our department has received the complete application. When there is an official opening for the position you have applied for, Human Resources will select the most highly qualified candidates to interview.
